The hall is located at the foot of Cat Ear Mountain, condensing the national soul of red blood and heart, concentrating glorious course of Linjiang old area’s people ’s fighting against the enemy. In all there were buried more than 580 martyrs who participated in War of Resistance against Japan, the war of liberation, the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea and the socialist construction. The Cenotaph was built on July 15 th, 1949, the original government chairman in Liaodong Province Liu Lanbo dedicated, “ The martyrs who devoted their lives to liberation of people will be remembered forever by posterity.” Revolutionist of the old generation Chenyun dedicated , “ Martyrs’s heroic spirit lives forever”. Four times for protecting Linjiang exhibition museum began to be established in 1991, the area is 320 square meters, there are 326 physical items on display, exhibiting 178 historical pictures, which displays the hard course of our Party and Army’s “persistence in War to Resist Manchukuo” and the brave and honorable scene of war of four times for protecting Linjiang. Four Times for Protecting Linjiang Memorial Hall was awarded as one of the one hundred patriotism education bases by national civil administration department in 1994, then listed in national education base by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee in 1998.
